CHRISTUS Health to hold job fair for nurses and allied health pros | Business

Nurses and allied health professionals are invited to attend a job fair hosted by CHRISTUS Health Shreveport-Bossier from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.Thursday, Jan. 24. in the main atrium of CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center. 

Area nurses and allied health professionals will be introduced to the many opportunities available at CHRISTUS Schumpert Medical Center, CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center and CHRISTUS Sutton Children’s Medical Center – particularly those in a relief or PRN capacity. 

“Although full-time and part-time opportunities have traditionally been the focus for our career networking events, we have a number of relief positions we need to fill with experienced professionals,” commented nurse recruiter Sharron Strawn. “These positions also pay a higher hourly rate than the full and part-time positions that are associated with benefits,” she added.

Hiring managers will be present to discuss clinical opportunities as well as the CHRISTUS Health orientation program and relief requirements.
