SRAC to hold meet and greet with 'Epic' film creator | Arts & Culture
The public is invited to spend an evening with William Joyce as he shares his story of how the film EPIC began as his book, “The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs”, became a play that was produced at the Strand Theatre by the Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC), and finally was transformed into the movie, EPIC.
"Meet and Greet with William Joyce" is from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, at artspace. The event is open to the public with all ages welcome; admission is $10 per person.
The audience will have a chance to ask questions and Joyce will also sign books. The paperback version of “The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs” is available for purchase in giftspace @ artspace.
Light refreshments will be served including chocolate covered crickets and yummy Leafmen inspired Lettuce Wraps - plus a cash bar with “Leafy Libations.” Shreveport-based band, Engine, will perform live.
